Children & Youth Choirs

 Singing, playing instruments and participating in concerts is an important part of worship and fun for children. Children meet weekly, gathering in Robinson Hall for snacks then moving to their individual rehearsal rooms.

Joyful Noise Choir

 

Age 3 to Pre-K on Sunday after Church School

 

The Joyful Noise sings in worship about every 4 to 6 weeks. We begin with gathering/snack time in Robinson Hall. The children then move to their individual rehearsals. Joyful Noise rehearsals are on Sundays after Church School until 11:45 am beginning after Labor Day.

Cherub Choir

Grades K-2 on Wednesdays, 3:45pm

The Cherub Choir sings in worship about every 4 to 6 weeks. We begin with gathering/snack time in Robinson Hall. The children then move to their individual rehearsals. Cherub Choir rehearsals are on Wednesdays, 3:45 to 4:15pm beginning after Labor Day.

Carol Choir

Grades 3-8 on Wednesdays, 4:15pm

Singing, playing instruments, participating in the Christmas Concert and Spring musical, our Carol Choir sings in worship about once per month. We begin with gathering/snack time in Robinson Hall. The children then move to their individual rehearsals. Carol Choir rehearsals are on Wednesdays, 4:15 to 4:45pm beginning after Labor Day.

Chapel Bells

Grades 3-8 on Wednesdays, 4:45pm

An introduction to handbells and hand chimes, focusing on technique and music reading. This group rings in worship each month. Rehearsals are on Wednesdays 4:45–5:15pm, right after Carol Choir. The choir is open to Carol Choir members and all 8th graders.

Tower Ringers

Grades 8-12 on Sundays, 11:30am

Venturing into more advanced ringing techniques and repertoire, Tower Ringers ring in worship every 4 - 6 weeks. Rehearsals are Sundays from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm beginning after Labor Day.
