Be a part of our Christian family!
We have something for everyone! We offer Christian education programs for children and youth, a confirmation program, Young People's Society, Christians In Action, scholarships and intergenerational events. Our mission and outreach, ministries, bible study and choir provide adults the opportunity to grow in their faith while serving the church and outside community.
Ash Wednesday, February 22th
Worship in the Sanctuary at 8pm. Communion by Intinction. Imposition of Ashes.
Lenten Sermons
Cross of Christ. Mr. Stinson and Ms Reynolds will preach a series of seven sermons on the cross starting on Ash Wednesday through Easter. Why is the cross the central symbol of the faith? Was it necessary? What does it have to do with forgiveness and the love of God? Why is it the pattern of our own discipleship? Join us to learn something old, something new!
Sunday Adult Bible Study
Starting Sunday, March 11th, at 9am in the church Library, Mr. Stinson will begin a new study of the wonderful, first book of the Bible, Genesis. Learn the lore and legends of prehistory: creation and fall. Learn the stories of the patriarchs and matriarchs who first came to believe in God: Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, Rebekka, Jacob, Rachel and Joseph. This book contains many teachings central to the faith. You do not need to be an expert, only interested in seeking to know more and to understand the Bible. The class is taught for 1 hour, between the first and second services, and is expected to last into June. For information, please contact Mr. Stinson.
Lenten Reading
Join others from the church reading the collection of writings and prayers from the books of Fr. Nouwen. Read more...
